The BIG 70!

I am so excited! This lovely Seraphinite pendant has taken my total sales tally to 70 since I joined Folksy.

As a way of celebrating this, I have decided to have a competition and prize give away.

I would like you to suggest a design or gemstone to be used in a new jewellery creation. Be as descriptive as you like, with colours, inspirational ideas, etc. All the entrants names will be put into a hat (or similar) and the winners name will be pulled from it. The winner will have their idea made into a new piece of jewellery and given to them as a prize! The budget is £20 so please keep this in mind when you design your piece.

The winner will be drawn on the 1st of December, so you have a few days to get some ideas down.

Please add your entries as comments below...

I have added some fantastic Sparks items that have inspired me today, with their colours, form and design - perhaps they will give you some ideas too?

Just click on the photos to be taken to the individual Folksters shops for more wonderful items and great inspirational ideas....

GOOD LUCK!

  2. Thank you for featuring my long length mittens, I had fun making them.

Congratulations on reaching your 70th sale, you so derserve all your success!

I have so many favourite gemstones, it would be hard to choose, but as we are coming into December, maybe a combination of December birth and zodiac gemstones, Modern and traditional might be fitting. Whether they would actually look nice together might be a different question LOL!

  6. Oooh well done on 70 sales! That is amazing!

Hmm...now...let's think... I absolutely adore your Romance 3 stone ring, I wonder if you could make something similar with a much smaller centre stone? Maybe a 0.30-0.40 in the centre with 0.10's on the sides? I'd love to see it with a deep purple stone in the centre? I think it would be a beautiful and delicate ring for those that want a little bit of luxury but can't quite afford the Romance ring!

Not too sure if this could be done for £20..if not..well it's just a nice idea to add to your shop anyway :D

  7. Congrats on reaching 70 sales!

What a lovely giveaway to enter. If I were lucky enough to win I would love something in purple and green, my favourite colours. Perhaps purple jasper, purple flourite or amethyst. Not sure what the complimentary green would be. Better leave that to the expert ;-0)

  8. What a great giveaway idea, and I'm so pleased you've reached 70 sales!! If I were lucky enough to win I'd like some sterling silver clip on earrings in blue, lapis lazuli if possible, but any nice deep blue would be great! As for the style, I'd leave that to you!

  9. Awwh, a really lovely idea! I would like to see several small chips or beads of snowflake obsidian each on a separate short single wire of different lengths so clustered together on a chain they look like a little fall of snow :) (a bit like how the drops on these hang, but only a single stone with no spacers so the move up and down the chain independently :) http://www.folksy.com/items/731953-Garnet-and-Fresh-Water-Pearl-Sterling-Silver-BoHo-Earrings?shop=yes) sarah x

  11. Congrats on 70 sales :-) your gemstones are very pretty. For me I just like my jewellery simple one stone on a chain, I like mooonstone or any milky looking stones, that look like you are peering into a cloud :-D

  14. Congats on reaching 70 sales :-)
Your jewellery is amazing and your daily listings are like a guide to beautiful gemstones! I have so many favourites that it's hard to choose but I think a large round or oval flat Snowflake Obsidian pendant on a silver chain would look stunning!
